Oprah!!!!

Went to the Oprah show today with my friend Meghan! We had a wonderful time and were sat in the FRONT row!!! We got a special treat and got to see two shows taped. We weren't told when they were going to air, but I thought I overheard one of the production assistants say one was going to air September 16th (the Dr. Oz show with the woman with the 140 lb. tumor) and the other we will just have to keep an eye on the Oprah show website (they always post the schedule for the upcoming week)!! Tom got us the tickets, it was so much fun. Thanks Tom!

Early birthday present!!!

Coley opened a birthday present from Grandma and Grandpa Grewing early. Clearly she loves it, it is the Leap Frog Learn and Groove Musical Table :) One week from tomorrow my little baby will be ONE year old. I can't believe it!!!! What a wonderful year!

Opus and Bob's Birthday Party!

Yes, we went to a Dog Birthday party today!!! It was held at the Pooch Hotel just around the corner from our house. It was LOTS of fun :) Great dogs! Lucy played for almost two hours. The party was complete with dog birthday cake. I got my 15 mile run in this morning. It actually felt really good. Brought my Dad's water belt with me and refilled it twice. Can't believe the marathon is less than two months away.

ICE CREAM!!!

Pretty quiet day here. The entire King family is fighting a cold, I think Colette had it the worst. Tom is in Canada today. Kind of dreary here so my sidekick and I went to Target and Ulta. Here is a picture of Colette with her new ice cream t-shirt on. A great family friend (who also owns the DQ in St. Cloud) gave this to her. Thanks Kathy!!

If this isn't motivation for me to get out and do my long runs, I don't know what is! This is a Father/Son team participating in an Ironman together (2.4 mile ocean swim, 112 mile bike ride and a 26.2 mile run). Pretty incredible.

Ball machine!

Colette got a new ball machine and I had to post pictures, it is hilarious! Had a great dinner with my friend Meghan last night, looking forward to having her here.
