Miles that is!! And I do believe it was actually harder than giving birth (but I had a STRONG epidural) :) I keep waiting for this supposed runners high? Next week the long run is scaled back a little to 10 and then the following is 15!! That will be the furthest I have ever run. I ran 13.1 with my Dad in 2006 in the Chicago half marathon. Wish me luck!!

Such a BIG girl!

Colette looks so old with her pretty bows. Not much new here. Ran my 12 miles on Saturday and did something to the bottom of my right foot. Icing and resting for now...hope it goes away soon.

Trip to MN!

We just returned from a trip to MN! We had a wonderful time. As much as I love Chicago, I miss home. We got to see lots of family and Colette spent some quality time with both sets of Grandparents. We also threw a Ba-by-que for Sara and Jon, less than 10 weeks until Baby Schmewing arrives :) We can't wait! Here are some pictures from our trip...

4th of July!!

Happy 4th of July everyone!! We have had a great weekend here so far. Weather has been gorgeous, went to a bbq last night, did some strolling today, got my 9 mile run in this morning, and hope to picnic tomorrow. Here are just a few pics from our weekend. Enjoy!

Can't believe I forgot...

Some of the biggest news in the King household was that Tom graduated from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business with an MBA (concentration in Analytic Finance, no idea what that means :)!!! It was a long 3+ years, don't know how he did it while working full time and having a new baby at home!! Congrats Tom!!!

Happy Anniversary to Us!!

Last night Tom and I celebrated our anniversary (actually the 24th) by going to dinner ALONE!!! Our friends Sean and Hollis babysat while we had a wonderful dinner at Japonais!! Can't believe it has been three years. Coley was fine for Sean and Hollis. We put her down and she didn't make a peep until morning. Looking forward to the 4th!!!! Tom's favorite holiday, and we are going home to MN the following weekend. Cubs lost to the Sox again today...one more shot tomorrow :)
