Trying a new look

I gave my blog a face lift yesterday. Just trying something new. Hope everyone had a good weekend. We are doing our monthly dinner with Sean and Hollis tonight. Looking forward to some Mexican food :) Tom and I visited our friend Meghan yesterday at her new condo in the South Loop. It is beautiful and we are so happy for her!!

A Beautiful day!!

Today was a gorgeous day here. I went to Skinner Park with Jeanne and Declan and then we had lunch at Jerry's. Yesterday Colette and I had Wiggleworms class with Amy and Liam. Going to run 12 miles in the morning and clean the house, and then we are having a kid free dinner with the Witts!! I added a couple pictures of our bathing beauty. She loves her duck tub and is really getting into splashing around in there!!

I'm the Mayor!!

We just returned from a nice long visit in MN. Actually I had a nice long visit, Tom had to do some traveling while I was there. Saturday morning Tom and I ran 20 miles together! Three weeks to go until the marathon. Anyone that wants to track me during the race can get updates via email or text. To sign up go to www.chicagomarathon.com. While we were in MN Colette got to be Mayor of St. Paul! My sister Sara is the Chief of Staff for the Mayor and I guess it is tradition that babies get their pictures taken in the Mayors chair.

We had a birthday party today for my big girl!! She is ONE year old! She loved her cake and we had lots of friends there to celebrate with us. Here are some pictures from our party! Enjoy!

Oprah!!!!

Went to the Oprah show today with my friend Meghan! We had a wonderful time and were sat in the FRONT row!!! We got a special treat and got to see two shows taped. We weren't told when they were going to air, but I thought I overheard one of the production assistants say one was going to air September 16th (the Dr. Oz show with the woman with the 140 lb. tumor) and the other we will just have to keep an eye on the Oprah show website (they always post the schedule for the upcoming week)!! Tom got us the tickets, it was so much fun. Thanks Tom!
